I am wondering what a good used model would sell for?   Also do current 1911's have glued in extractors and is this a problem?

Larry, it really depends on condition, but in general $400-$450 is reasonable for used in good shape. Excellent to like new would fetch a couple of hundred more. Most production Springfield Ejectors are glued, including TRPs. If you experience any issues (which are rare even with being glued) you can have it pinned.
