Can any brand of hand guard be attached to this as long as it's designed for a piston or will it only accept one made by Adams Arms? I would like to remove original one and replace with quad rail.

Michael, most any "Carbine Length" Hand Guard will fit as the "Piston" will not be a factor pertaining to hand guards.
