I purchased a combo in a different caliber and it was shipped in the soft case. Anyone else have that happen? No damage but I would like to order a different caliber but am concerned that it may shipped the same way being that it has a scope mounted to the rifle.

Hi Mark Yes most are shipped in Soft Cases. It should've been in a cardboard box though when it was received by your FFL.
