Nathan, I have 2 of the PT-111 and one G2C. There is just a tad of "take up" after the trigger bar is pressed but it is not bad and you will get used to it very quickly. It was also slightly gritty at first but smoothed out after 150 or so rounds.

They are pretty good some take up before the trigger is activated and some over travel after the triggers get better after being shot awhile
