Like everyone is saying it is the "Chamber Safety Block" does nothing for the function. What it does do is at some ranges I've heard it is necessary to insert when range not live. I guess to ensure the range master the gun/s are empty and do not have a round chambered! Hope this helps. So hold on to it I guess. Never had to use any of mine at any ranges I shoot at.
