Looks okay to me. Buds lists M1As post 1994 with flash hider or muzzle break as permitted to New Jersey.

Its a prohibited assault rifle if it has a detachable magazine and any two of the following: 1, folding/ telescopic stock. 2, Flash suppressor 3, pistol grip. 4, Threaded Barrel 5, bayonet lug. 6, Grenade Launcher This M1A only has 1, the flash suppressor. So you are good to go.

This is good to go. If you are worried about it, you could always remove the flash suppressor to be extra careful. Nice rifle!
