Hi Reed, Yes Beretta doesn't have alot of recoil. Best thing to do though would be go feel a few models in your hand to see which fits best. Worry about the recoil after.

It depends on the gun and you did not select a model or caliber sorry I cant give you a better answer
Yes it is Reed. All metal pistols tend to lessen felt recoil due to the extra weight of the handgun. Today you also have many options of lighter very effective self defense ammunition that will lessen recoil even further shooting with the 9mm. If recoil is issue, then ammunition selection will be your best solution.
Which Beretta pistol? Metal framed models will typically have less felt recoil than the polymer frames models but I cannot think of any berettas that have terrible recoil. Of course hotter rounds in a smaller gun will have more recoil. When it comes to the 92 models, they are known form light recoil due to the action moving straight back and being metal framed guns. hope this helps but more info would be better.
