Hi Kip, Yes this is Gen 1. The reviews look good to me. 4 and 5 stars.
Kip, this is a "New" pistol. I would check with Buds or Sig for the Generation status at Sig Phone: 603.610.3000, option 1 -- Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:30am – 6pm EST or Buds at at LiveChat (available from 9AM to 9PM 7 days a week), the "Blue chat now" button at the bottom right of the page, or phoning at (859) 368-0371 (available 9AM to 9PM EST Monday through Friday).
as far as I know there are no Gen 1 or gen 2 sigs they normally upgrade and fix problems as they are discovered with out making any changes to the model numbers that being said this is a "New" pistol.
To the best of my knowledge the P250 has not been built with the Gen 2 or X frame. Plus from this photo it has the old style 250/320 more rounded grip and the old style (discontinued) trigger. The P-250 is no longer listed on the Sig web sight. Do yourself a favor and get a "new" 320. Correction ; the 250 isn't listed as a "production" model but is still listed in the Armed Professional … as a law enforcement model … for whatever that means. It's still only shown with the earlier grip frame style.
