Hi James, I seen these too. The C308 tends to need some breaking in. After that they're fine.
James, the percentage of recent C308's that are having feeding issues has dropped significantly. I think this is due to better QC. My C308 has run good from the 1st Magazine (knock on wood). Most of the failures can be traced to the magazines as most folks use the cheapest surplus mags and don't disassemble clean/and check for burrs and weak springs. I went through this with my CETME and resolved the issue by reconditioning my old surplus magazines.
