Jeb, 308 is loaded to a slightly higher pressure than 7.62 x 51 Nato but falls well within the Manufacturers "Pressure test" rating of the 7.62 chambered rifles. However I always advocate calling the manufacturer and getting their opinion as they ultimately control your warranty.
