Yes. As a rule of thumb, .308 can actually be loaded hotter than 7.62 NATO and has a thinner case wall. This means that anything chambered in ,308 can shoot 7.62 NATO, but if something is just explicitly chambered in 7.62 NATO you may not want to shoot certain .308 loads out of it.
This rifle will safely shoot 308 win. and the 7.63 Nato. Any rifle chambered for 7.62 Nato may not be safe with the 308 round because the Nato round has more headspace. The 2 cartridges are basically the same pressure and velocity the pressures are measured on different scales and at different points on the barrel.
