Yes Ray. The magazine catch is positioned in the same location as the original G26 mag and is just longer. The additional length can be covered with the X-Grip extension : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05acNCiiEIE

Yep Ray sure will fit!! I got the Glock 27 and do have glock 22 mags they work great! Yes they do protrude beyond the bottom of grip. Best part of that it allows u a better grip on that little sub compact. Also it adds bit of weight kinda nice little guns can be a bit snappy. If u wanted u can run the drum magazine in the Glock 26. ( You cannot run the Glock 26 magazine in the Glock 19 though! Why having a few Glock 19 mags not bad idea) The magazine will be too short to catch. Hope this helped best of luck
