This is correct Ray. The longer G19 magazine will extend below the grip but, will lock in and function fine in the G26. Of course the shorter G26 mag won't work in the longer magwell of the G19.

Yes, they will fit fine. They will just hang out a bit extra. You can buy fillers for the gap, if needed.

Yes Ray as all others have said this is a go! But no go with G26 mags in G19. That being said i own the Glock 27 which is the 40 cal model and would HIGHLY recommend looking into the G27 for the fact you can switch out barrels with the G26 9 mm barrel and the G33 357 sig. All mags will fit in all the calibers as well! Not only allows you to switch mags allows you to have an EXTREMELY versatile sub compact carry/ bug out/ night stand/ truck gun and so on.
