Hello Thomas. This model is Double Action. As you pull the trigger the internal hammer draws back then releases and strikes the firing pin. So the answer is NO STRIKER fire. Just good old Double Action. For instance your Ruger LCP if that helps. Long heavy pull with clean break. Take little getting used to is all. Hope this helps best of luck
