Nichol, the CA Roster is model number specific when it comes to handgun approval. I know it's silly that a pistol with a different "Finish" can be illegal from one that has a different finish but is not. That is the way California intended so manufacturers would be dissuaded from certifying all their firearms because doing so would negate any profit due to cost. Just look at the number of firearms on the CA Roster from just a year ago to realize just how effective this tactic is.
