According to the Sellier & Bellot web sight, the .38 Special Ammo you are in question about is brass casing and "Boxer Primed". The Sellier & Bellot company has been around since 1809. An interesting read is "The Beginnings of Sellier & Bellot Ammo". Do a web search and enjoy the detail story about them. ~mOOse~ Reynolds
