Yep sure will work. And yes it is 13 round. I personally own the 40 cal BE 2 poly 3.8.. Yes it does come with 12 round with poly base plate. This is a 13 round mag steel base plate. Done further research there are multiple vendors selling the 13 round mag. So one could only imagine they all can't be advertising the wrong product! Enjoy you Beagle as I own 3... Ken, this magazine holds 12rds of 40s&w. Buds has an incorrect photo and someone must have mistakenly entered the manufacturers description of 12 +1 as 13rds for the magazine. Simply a human mistake I think.
