My opinion is that the P01 is marginally better ergonomically for a more natural fit in the hand. When a pistol fits better folks tend to shoot it better and give the higher ratings you are seeing on the P01. In any pistol, something as simple as the grip angle can make a ton of difference to many folks.

Why do you want to trade if you love what you have now spend the money on ammo and give them some extra range time I think a lot of the higher rating is the latest greatest syndrome (its a newer gun so it must be better)

Send your PCR to the CZ Custom Shop in Mesa, Az and have them go through it. Then it will definitely be an upgrade. They did not lie though. All the internals are the same and the grip is identical. The P-01 has a cool looking beaver tail (like your PCR) but feels and shoots the same as the Compact.
