Yes they will Mike. These are "True" GI Spec 1911's and aftermarket parts for the standard 1911 will be drop in in most cases.
Yes they will take aftermarket parts but there is no such thing as a "drop in" part for a 1911 (unlike other handguns) as most things will need minor fitting and blending. The hammer might drop in and work fine but the rear of the frame will likely need to be radiused to accept a beavertail grip safety. Make sure that the primary safety engages properly after too.
