What's the difference between this m&p15 and the m&p15 sport II? Just trying to figure it out. can't really find a difference other than the sport II being a bit cheaper.

The M&P Sport II is configured more as a basic "Entry Level" AR Gregory. The M&P 15 is considered/configured as a standard "Mid-Level" rifle. Many AR's seem similar outwardly, but internals, barrel metal, bolt carrier's. better triggers can make a difference in price of what would appear at 1st glance to be identical AR's.

in my opinion not much difference I am happy with my sport II and its the only AR 15 I (most likely) will own
