I would like to buy a shotgun I can do everything with (home defense, hunting etc). I like how tough the Mossberg 590a1 is, but I'm curious if I can switch out the barrel and sights for trap shooting like with the Mossberg 500.

Adam, No barrel is available for the 9 shot but for the 6 shot 590A1 Mossberg does have a 28 inch barrel. The barrel lug would have to be relocated to fit the long magazine model.
