Jeff, I can only speak from the Rem Sendero's perspective. I have a Remington Sendero in 300 Win Mag that I have had for over 15 years. It is one of the most accurate rifles I have owned. Never a problem experienced with any loads and best accuracy with my hand loads of 1/2 MOA. Even with factory off the shelf ammo, groups never went much over 1 MOA. I would surmise that with proper break in, either rifle would get the job done for you.
