I purchased a new Beeman air rifle and received a notice from Buds which, among other things, made me think I needed an FFL transfer to take delivery of this. Is this true?

no there is no federal requirement to ship a air gun to a FFL I would Contact  customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM CST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button to clarify the notice you received . we are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions

No Dave. The "Air Rifle" will ship directly to your residence. You probably just go a generic response from Buds relating to "Rifle".
