They are Todd. They are sold out and back ordered on every website. There was a rush to buy before the 1/2018 revamp/renewal of the CA Approved Roster where Colt and other 1911 (and other pistol) Manufacturers were decimated. This phenomena should settle down and these pistols should start trickling back in shortly.
No they are out of production here are the colt series 70 guns https://www.colt.com/category/pistols they are still made in Blue but not stainless

It appears the stainless '70 is discontinued, but blued is still in production.
