Hi Daniel, 2 rounds are loaded per pump and 1 round is fired per trigger pull.

Hello Daniel, 1 pump loads both barrels but you have to pull the trigger once per barrel. Kind of a semi-auto pump. You have to pull the trigger for every shot but only pumping once for every two rounds instead of once after every shot. Hope that helps!
