Yes it is a "full" size springfield calls it a "service" size

Shariq, there are many size designations across manufacturers. The 4' Barrel Springfield is a "Mid Size" Pistol (barrel length) with a Frame that is the same size as a Full Size "longer barreled" Springfield pistol.
