Guys, I'm attempting to pay off the balance on a layaway item. I received an error code each time. Clearly stated on billing page is: You will receive an error code if billing zip and zip on file do not match.
Does this mean I need to be in my zip code to make a payment?
Today is day 89 of a 90 day layaway purchase ('Merica).
Please advise.

You do not need to be in the same zip code. The billing zip code for the card needs to be the same as the zip code on file with buds. I would try again or try a different card. If that doesn't work then definitely call buds before you lose your layaway.
