The "Magazine Release" is reversible long. Flipping the mag catch is an easy, one screw operation. Pull the slide and you can see the screw that retains the spring that retains the mag catch. No removal of the sear cage, etc...

This is the selective action model with no de-cocker. It must be manually de-cocked. It can also be carried with the primary safety enegaged. The SP-01 Tactical model has the de-cocker. You can reverse the mag catch but the screw that holds it is staked and also retains the lifter for the trigger bow so be careful.
