I recently bought the above from Bud's. Upon receipt I found that the front blade sight was bent. I sent it to ATI and was emailed that the slide would be replaced. It's been about two weeks since they received the slide. I've emailed numerous times and called twice to customer Service. They say "I'll check it out and let you know". That's the last I hear from them. How long does it take to replace a slide with another? Has anyone else had this problem with ATI? How did you resolve it?

Hi John, I have not had any issues with ATI service (knock on wood) so far. 2 weeks or more seems too long for what should be an in house standard replacement part. You may need to get to a higher up at ATI since it looks like you are getting the run around down low.

Its not unusual for repairs to take a month or more also remember that ATI does not make the 1911 and I don't know what kind of parts stock they keep on hand the ATI 1911 are made in the Philippines.by SAM (Shooters Arms Manufacturing)
