Roy, Bolt actions are not considered AWs under the SAFE act. There are no "qualifying" features...in other words you can have any feature on a bolt action (or pump action) in NYS; pistol grips, bayonets, flash hiders, adjustable stocks etc. are fine on a bolt action. The evil features only apply to semi autos with detachable mags (rifles and shotguns).
