I love buying guns online at BUDS! My 3 "wish-list" guns are: Colt Python. SS 4 or 6" Bbl., (2) Sig P210 .9mm(Not imitation Legacy model). and (3) Orig Browning 9mm Hi-Power. This used surplus FN Hi Power seems to be literally identical to the Browning Hi-Power. What are the differences? Which model is superior? Which is worth more and holds value better over time? Any one familiar w/ the lovely Browning 9mm single-action originals? Please let me hear from you and appreciate benefit of your advi

Condition is everything. An old Belgium Browning can fetch over $3,000 easy depending on the model. Differences are slight and really differentiated by markings only. I'd be happy to own either. I don't think one is superior to other operationally. But the right Browning Hi Power is far more collectable.

The surplus ones cost a lot less and are functionally identical. If some cosmetic issues bug you you may want to refinish it, but aside from that there is really no reason to buy a brand new gun from Browning.

An old friend, lawyer and former FBI agent once told me when discussing the many 9mm autos available ..." Get anything you want ..as long as it says Browning on the side of it"  I have always wanted a nice, real Hi-Power....a Browning.
