I thought about getting this rifle for deer hunting but worried that ammo is too hard to find or that they will stop making 35 Remington ammo

Shaun, I would not worry too much about this. If you purchase this fine rifle just stock up (Case Lots) of your preferred ammunition. Go to this website - click rifle - click caliber -  select 35 Rem - click start "seeking now" -  there is currently plenty of options  :  https://ammoseek.com/

If you really want a 35 Rem stock up on the ammo and start reloading. If you want to hunt Deer there are calibers out there that will do the same job as well or better with easy to find ammo
