Is this barrel 357 Sig or 40 S&W? I want to convert a P226ASE that is now chambered for 40 S&W to 357 Sig using a 4.4 inch drop in barrel conversion.. Is this the right barrel to do that?

Yes this is the right barrel. This is a drop in 357 sig conversion barrel. It is also made for the sig p226. Hope this helps.

As long as the pistol does not have the California compliant loaded chamber indicator it will work.

Yup, it should drop right in and work just fine. Depending on the type of ammo you use you may need a different recoil spring too.
