this gun comes with a Modified choke tube which is a good all around choke it will be good in most hunting situations (good for sporting clays) IC (improved cylinder) is a better choke for close range hunting of upland game ( birds and Rabbits" is also good for Skeet full choke is best for longer range hunting and for things like Turkey and Ducks also good for trap shooting My favorite choke is LM or light modified it fits in between the IC and modified chokes and to me is the best all around choke Hope this quick view of the most common chokes helps
