I'm over 18 years old, however younger than 21 years old. Would the pistol grip make the minimum age requirement 21 years old?

Hi Gabe, No, This is still considered a shotgun not a handgun so being over 18 years old is fine.

Gabe, you must be 21 years old to purchase this firearm. It is not classified as a shotgun with the pistol grip by the ATF.
