i have an 870 super mag express that can chamber 3 1/2"shells. so will this still fit? also follow up question with the choke built in does it restrict what shells i can fire through it? (i.e. buck shot, slugs, etc)

The barrel will fit our 870. The barrel is choked with improved cylinder which should not restrict the shells you can shoot through it. You should test fire shot shells (regular shot and buckshot) to pattern the barrel. The barrels rifling will likely have some minimal pastern dispersion. This barrel is only chambered for 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells so your 3 1/2 shells can not be shot in this barrel.

the barrel will not fit the super mag guns to start with the super mags are all 12 ga guns the is no 3,5 inch 20 ga this barrel is for a 20 ga 870 and will not fit a 12 ga gun

sorry my bad I read 20 ga not 20 inch the 12 ga standard barrels will fit the supermag guns just fine the fixed IC  choke will not restrict what shells you can shoot (2.75 and 3 inch only) the pattern will be open and if you want to shoot slugs avoud the sabot slugs as they need a rifled barrel to be accurate (will shoot just fine jus inaccurate)
