I own this pistol, I really doubt the one reviewer actually does. Mine came with a NM (national match) barrel. It's fit and finish is superb, not like the reviewer. It shoots a bit high. I will be switching to a lighter 200g bullet from the 230g ball I'm shooting up. I greased mine for brake in. I also took a second with a dremel and wool to polish the ramps, but it didn't need it, Colt does a nice job. You may want to consider a beaver tail model if you shoot high handed like me.

Glad you at happy with the 1911 sometimes I think reviewers select the incorrect  model especially with guns like the 1911 where colt has many models with just slight variations. Also once in a while one  gun makes it past the inspectors which would cause a not so shining review

Some reviewers are not entirely forthright on reviews Michael.  I can tell you know what your doing as the 200gr bullet should lower your groups. I also recommend taking a box or two of some 185's as well as you never know - they may hit that "Sweet Spot" if the 200's don't do it entirely without going to sight adjustment.
