Hi Andrew, usually the UPC code will designate a specific configuration for a given firearm.  This has a Action Type: Da/sa - Trigger Pull DA: 10.0 lbs - Trigger Pull SA: 4.4 lbs  and Manual Safety.,

These sigs are what sig calls CPO (certified pre owned) most are police trade ins sig refurbishes then sells them under a generic p229 tag they have different features because they come form different sources they are all DA/SA guns The are also sometimes called sig RED BOX guns
