Hey Kenneth, yes. This will fire 7.62 NATO safely. Rifles chambered for .308 can do this, but not the other way around. Hope that helps!

yes you can fire 7.62 nato in any .308 rifle. The .308 is the "hotter" round (.308 is the higher pressure round) and can easily handle the lower pressure 7.62 NATO rounds
