The upper is compatible. But I think what he meant was the bolt carrier isn't compatible to full auto and needed replaced too. For this price it should be. I do see the keymod model but that doesn't say if it has it either. I'd call Buds at 1-859-368-0371 for clarity before dropping 3k on this thing.
