Hi Glenn, The New Pro Series is tough to beat. My buddy has one that I've shot at the range and it's very spot on accurate.

Let me start by saying my EDC is a RIA 1911 compact. I got to handle and play with one of the pro series 1911 3 inch guns it is around 4-5 OZ lighter and a 1/2 inch shorter barrel than mine. the fit and finish were outstanding. the accuracy was good and would most likely get better as I had more time with the gun. I shoot my RIA better due to the heavier weight and the fact that I have shot thousands of rounds through it. I could happily carry one and feel confident that when I needed it, it would do the job
