I've looked into further, and reached out to Kriss. The hinge (pre 2017) and non hinge BOTH have the same SKU#. They told me the only way to know, when purchasing, is to have the seller physically check the firearm for hinge or no hinge. So, has anyone checked this one?

even if  I had bought one the next one out of buds may be different since the use the same UPC
