William, this particular Black Hawk has a low luster Blue finish. It is actually very nice as it is smooth and even.

Mine (45lc/45acp) has a nice deep blue I would call it is a medium blue its not the super glossy blue and its not a satin finish it is a very nice finish

Hi William, The Black Hawk has a "Medium Luster Blue finish". It is actually very nice as it is smooth and even.
