Does anyone know if this new layaway fee system is retroactive? I've got a couple of layaway's that now have the message that there are no fees through X date.

I did not agree to that at the time and certainly don't feel they should be retroactively sticking fees on if they are. I've got no problem doing them on orders placed now with that policy in place.

I agree Nicholas that preexisting layaway's should be fee free. I would speak directly to Buds as the community members here are no Buds employees at LiveChat (available from 9AM to 9PM 7 days a week), the "Blue chat now" button at the bottom right of the page, or phoning at (859) 368-0371 (available 9AM to 9PM EST Monday through Friday).

When I spoke with customer service about this they told me that our old layaways were grandfathered and would not have the new fees applied  you can verify this by  phoning (859) 368-0371 (available 9AM to 9PM EST Monday through Friday) or using the "Blue chat now" button at the bottom right of the page
