I have not personally Sean but, some have and there has been no complaints. The H&R Big Bore Rough Rider gives the accuracy, and the performance you need for western action shooting or small game hunting. The action features a frame mounted inertia firing pin, and transfer bar safety for added protection. It seems to be an excellent pistol quality/reliability wise for the $. It should do just fine for the exciting sport of Western Action Shooting.

My only concern would be the durability of the rough riders but other than that I think it would be a fine gun for cas its not my ruger but its 1/2 the price and would be great to see if you are going to enjoy CAS
