Nathan, yes, this will be an excellent choice for any AR style rifle including your Mossberg MMR. Remember to mount and tighten the mount slots as far forward in the picatinny rail slots as possible. Rifles recoil backwards and this will produce the most consistent groups as movement when firing will be eliminated.
