Brady, this can be shot through a smooth or rifled barrel. A "Modified" Choke is the max choke to use.

yes it can be shot through a smooth bore if you shoot it through a Rifled barrel you will most likely have some leading issue (rifled shotgun barrels are made for Sabot slugs) it can be safely fired through any choke constriction (the do not use rifled slugs in a full choke is a myth)
