I am 99.9% this gun will be bought today. My question is can I install a pistol grip to this beautiful shotgun for home defense or better off buying with a pistol grip?. Last is there a 20 gauge slug and will it work in this shotgun, thanks.

You can David with no problem. Personally I would buy the configuration I wanted up front to reduce expenditure and use that money for additional ammo and accessories.
