What type scope rings are best for my 270, and what height should I have?

Leupold VX.R 2-7x33. Looks like the 1 piece is made more for AR's ?? Worried that it may sit to high. Any thoughts??

Hi Mark, the optimum height Rings for your setup will be "Medium Height" Rings. DNZ makes excellent quality 1 piece mounts and you have a few styles to choose from. If you go with the 2 piece Ring Set, virtually any medium height Weaver or Picatinny Rings will work as well.
