It is a Beretta built like a tank. I have the M9 and 92s and and they are solid & great craftmanship. The 22 version should not be any different. hope this helps
It's not really a copy of the M9 which fires from a locked breach. It is direct blowback. It's a good pistol though. Look at this photo closely and you'll see on the front of the frame that it says "Made in Germany by Umarex". http://www.beretta.com/en-us/m9-22lr/
Beretta makes a quality gun...and in .22 I seriously doubt you'll ever shoot enough to wear one out. Keep it clean, shoot good ammo and store it properly this gun should out last you and the next owner.
